The Open University research and development facility at its headquarter campus is a state-of-the-art building for the research and development of space satellites and probes. The building was designed meticulously in order to provide a purpose built technical facility to support world ground-breaking engineers working on pioneering projects such as the Beagle 2 Mars Lander project and Huygens-Cassini Titan mission.


Built at the centre of the Open University’s campus Ridge have since designed many research, teaching and amenity facilities working with scientists and engineers engaged in some of the most advanced research and development projects in the world.
